Vice President for Client Relations and Market Research
For more than 12 years, Carolyn has partnered with Connor Associates overseeing the Division of External Image Audits and Competitive Analysis. In 2016, she was named Vice President for Client Relations and Marketing Research. In this role, she manages all client contacts for scheduling of projects and deliverables, and monitors quality control and client satisfaction.
Carolyn also provides support for projects such as Enrollment Feasibility Studies, Five-Year Enrollment Forecasts, Board Sphere of Influence Surveys, and Alumni Surveys. She will take a greater role in scheduling Strategic Planning, and will continue to manage External Image Audits and Competitive Analyses.
Since 2005, Carolyn has conducted more than 11,000 confidential constituent and community-influencer interviews for schools and organizations across the United States. Carolyn's expertise helps assess the differences and similarities of internal and external perceptions of the client's brand identity and position. She is skilled as well at assessing admission, communication, development, and marketing practices.
In addition to her work with Connor Associates, Carolyn has provided auxiliary support for the admissions, development, marketing, and communications offices at independent schools during leadership transitions, produced collateral materials for capital campaigns, and edited written and video material for websites.
Prior to Connor Associates, Carolyn was Director of Development and Community Relations at Hillbrook School (K-8) in Los Gatos, CA; Senior Development Officer at The Children’s Hospital Foundation in Denver, CO; Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations at Lake Forest Country Day School in Lake Forest, IL; and Media Supervisor with Leo Burnett Company/Starcom Worldwide in Chicago. Carolyn earned a B.S from Richard T. Farmer School of Business Administration, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
Carolyn lives in Michigan with her husband and three children.
